this is not done yet... sorry... almost done
looks good, as usual. i know it's not done, but . . .
is kudos removable?
weren't we adding a badges app somewhere for certifications, etc.?
activity log isn't an app right? is it part of the accordian?
overall.
-why do we allow drag/drop on this page? Can people add apps here? Shouldn't we just fix all profiles the same and do the drag/drop on home?
If we go with this....
-contact info should always be the default open view.
-location and contact should likely be together, I would be annoyed if I have to click around for core info like location, phone, skills, etc. keep that visible.
-accordian is fixed in upper right I assume
-does accordian change height or is height fixed?
-i am ok with activity log being an app
-in left nav with groups, how many do you show? at some point we'll need a link to "all" or similar.
we decided to go fb style with profile apps, i.e. allow them, but not above important info like profile stuff
that was the call we made, but it could change. i like having apps on both home and profile. still, home only makes the profile cleaner and the overall job easier.
@paul the accordion doesn't require a click. Hover over bar is all it requires to activate (http://ui.jquery.com/repository/real-world/accordion-drawers/)
as far as apps go, I think we'll go out without the ability to DnD apps onto this page. That way we can spend more time making the homepage work well. If we find that there's a good reason to add apps onto the profile, we can do that later.
@jake: I am ok with that. Your call.
@rich, hover or click is the same to me. I don't want people to have to hunt and peck for key info like contact or location. Let's just ensure it's there by default.
@both: If we have apps on the profile with no D&D is that an issue?
I also agree to focus on minimal D&D since issues always arise.
My call = no user-added apps
Profile should have the badge app, but that is our app and should be persistent in location on the page and not removable (but can be hidden/shown).
