it's actually reading the commit history from a real git repo purely in ActionScript - finding the sha, finding the head commit object, uncompressing, extracting the header, etc...
And the icons are cached gravatars based on the email in the commit message
Neat. Seems gitnub inspired. Seems like a good project to point people who'd like to use gitnub, but for whatever reason don't use macs.
