I don't have a Media/Photos folder but I do have a Pictures folder and an all images folder. I have verified permissions and deleted the apple.com.pdf in my users folder

What operating system do you have? 10.4 or 10.5?

iPhoto opens and all of the albums appear to be there but one but no pictures in the albums
